Nice note pad
Decent pad, minor feathering and bleed through. I prefer Rhodia and Clairefontaine, but this is very usable with fountain pens.
I decided to test this by becoming increasingly more abusive to the paper. I started using five different fountain pens with nibs ranging from EF to M and I used Waterman brown, Noodler's black, a custom gray / green, and private reserve inks. In every case, the writing was crisp with no bleed through. So far so good...
I pulled out some Pilot Parallel pens. For the record, this ink is awful in that it really likes to bleed through paper and they write very wet. With the 3.8mm pen, there was some very faint bleed-through. Frankly, I expected significantly more. Also, the paper seemed to want to pull the ink from the pen, so, the lines are not as crisp as I like. This would not be my first choice if you are writing calligraphy using a Pilot Parallel pen, but, it is doable, just not as crisp and be sure to have a blotter page under it.
This worked out fine, but, there was still some minor feathering and I almost made it bleed through.
