Description Esterbrook Black Hard Rubber model B fountain pen. ca. 1934 with 2556 steel fine point nib which writes closer to a medium. Nib is earliest version with flat feed. Earliest spear type lever, and earliest clip variation. This is the full size model and the very first fountain pen produced by Esterbrook in the United States. Fully restored and in working order. Lever filler and only fills from the bottle. Some lever box spread from lever ring, and one scratch on barrel, but crisp imprint and overall very good condition. Exceptional dark color for this model. **Vintage pens, or pens marked as Experienced will be considered for return only if they arrived to you as mechanically defective.
