This Esterbrook ReNew replacement nib and feed unit is marked 9555, a Firm Extra Fine nib made of stainless steel. Esterbrook ReNew nib units are interchangeable, and to change them, you simply unscrew one and screw in another one.

Great Nib = Happy Esterbrook J !
Very nice writing nib. Smooth and very easy to change out. Collar is green but is hidden inside my Dubonnet Red Esterbrook J. I believe this is actually a Fine...that is what the green box says anyway. I know it is listed as EF in some places ( like the Esterbrook site). I think the 9550 is an EF if that is what you are looking for. Great packaging and quick shipping. Excellent service as always from Anderson Pens!
