Noodler's Bad Belted Kingfisher
Originally purchased to go into my Dad's Parker 51; currently used in a TWISBI Vac Mini, fine point.
Flows well, but not a wet ink. Minimal, if any, shading. Some show-through on typical 20# bond. Works very well on security checks, with some penetration through to the other side of the check; which I regard as an asset. Pens need to be blotted after filling, or they'll initially be quite wet & prone to blob. One of my favourite inks.
Ink - Noodler's bulletproof
I needed a blue in for business purposes that would stand up to the ravages of time, be forgery proof, and stand up to the occasional coffee spill. This ink more than meets my needs. The blue is dark enough for business, but also great for personal use. It surprised me that it was not dry. It's not a wet ink, but it's not dry. I know that sounds wishy washy but I was expecting a dry ink considering it is bulletproof. It's not. It's a good subdued blue that works well in the office as well as on a personal letter. The drying time is very reasonable, and the flow is decent. And you don't have to reach for the dreaded ball point pen to address the envelope.
