Very unique green with a slightly golden yellow shading to it. Hard to describe with words but very beautiful. A little dry in the pen but still flows quite nicely, will look best in a somewhat broader nib however still is great in a fine too.
I haven't yet detected the gold sheen it's supposed to have, possibly because I've been spoiled by Diamine Shimmertastic inks and J Herbin anniversary inks. It's a bit on the dry side for my tastes, but I like the colour, saturation, and shading, evident even using it in a Pilot Metropolitan Fine nibbed pen. Also, I can fill a page of Tomoe River ivory paper with the Noodler's Blue Ghost ink (only visible with a blacklight) and write on top of it with the Alt-Goldgrün, and still read both. It's a hoot!
