I purchased Sheaffer blue black to use in some vintage Sheaffer pens. I was pleasantly surprised by the performance. The color is towards the darker end of blue black, which I like. It seems well behaved, meaning it stays where it's supposed to, doesn't feather much if at all and seems to be pretty easy to clean up. About the only thing I could say is that it takes a little longer to dry on good paper. On Rhodia paper or Oxford index cards it can take up to 20-30 seconds to dry. On regular 20 lb copy paper is seems to dry almost instantly. I will definitely be buying this again.
