As with all TWSBI pens, it comes with a piston ink-filling mechanism and has all detachable parts. An ink window allows you to see your remaining ink level. The pen cap will physically fit onto the back of the pen body in a way that would be considered to be posting, but TWSBI recommends not doing so to avoid scratching the barrel.
