"I love this pen and it wrote straight out of the box with no adjustments necessary. I have seen reviews where there were initial problems with the steel nibs, but experienced none. I would say that I wish I could have bought an extra fine as the fine nib is definitely closer to a medium. This pen is will be my novel writing workhorse.
As you expect with Visconti, the finish of this pen is stunning; I just wish I could afford more of them. I have done a full review of the pen on my YouTube channel. I also mention the excellent service provided by Anderson Pens."
Visconti stainless nibs are no joke.
This is my first Visconti. Needless to say I am way beyond impressed. It writes smoothly and for a medium nib a bit on the broader side. With their ink. I am not surprised that Visconti takes great pride in their products even their stainless nibs. It was one of the reasons I purchased the pen. If you are looking to take the leap into the brand and want to start with something a bit more affordable this the Visconti Rembrandt is a good start. The pen is not too light but isn't too heavy. I lean towards heavier pens but nothing about the weight of this one makes me regret my purchase. It is long enough to write without posting. The cap functions very nicely for a magnetic cap. Overall the pen looks very simple but the clip stands out nicely without being aggressive. It attracts enough attention to spark conversation but not steal the show. The grip section feels nice and their is pretty much no step to worry about. The center band on the cap has nice details on it. I highly recommend.
