J. Herbin Ocean Blue
Beautiful ink, a dark rich blue that is well behaved.
This 50ml glass bottle of Jacques Herbin 1670 Anniversary Bleu Ocean fountain pen ink comes in a gorgeous bottle with a wax seal, worthy of this unique ink. This deep, dark blue ink has gold pigment particles suspended in it, achieving the sheen that is raved about by so many users. Jacques Herbin does include a fairly strict warning on the box, letting users know to clean out this highly saturated ink from your pen on a regular basis, but the ink is safe for fountain pens. The gold particles settle out of suspension fairly quickly, and these particles can be seen on the bottom of the bottle. The ink, and your pen, should be gently agitated before and occasionally during use.

I absolutely love this ink so much!
This ink's reformulation is all about the newly added sparkles! Well not really but it is the main feature. The ink is great with or without the sparkles. I have both versions and its a nice blue with a slight hint of purple. You won't notice it unless you put down a think line next to a true solid blue. It did not feather for me ever, even in a Pilot Parallel 1.5mm All that did was bring out the sparkles in mass. It really is a great ink in a beautiful bottle. Don't think it's a gimmick ink... J. Herbin is solid ink that does not disappoint. As always it was shipped fast & packed well.
Seems to have enough gold sparkles in ink but .... not showing in pen yet
