Description The Pilot Vanishing Point is the first and favorite luxury retractable fountain pen, and the Pilot Vanishing Point LS fountain pen is an exciting update on this design. The Pilot Vanishing Point LS fountain pen in Black features a glossy black lacquer over brass body with rhodium accents, and the middle trim ring features a gorgeous diagonal turbine pattern, which is a new feature in the model. The seamless Twist and Click mechanism retracts the rhodium-plated 18k gold nib effortlessly. The nib retracts fully into the barrel seamlessly and smoothly with either the push of the top button or with a gentle twist on the top of the pen to the right. The Pilot Vanishing Point LS fountain pen is packaged with a proprietary piston converter, one Pilot cartridge and a cartridge cap. The Vanishing Point LS does use the same nib unit that the current Vanishing Point and Decimo fountain pens use. Please note that Japanese nib sizes tend to run on the finer side, so your line with will be thinner than with a western nib. Other Pilot Vanishing Point replacement nib units are available, and come in 3 plating options and several nib sizes, and additional Pilot ink cartridges can be purchased as well.
