21kt Naginata-Togi
This specially tipped nib resembles the Japanese Long Sword, which is what Naginata-Togi means. The rounded tip end provides variable line width depending on the angle of the pen to the paper - the lower the angle, the broader the line. The Sailor Naginata-Togi nib features wonderful ink flow and allows the pen to write at any writing angle and while remaining smooth across the page with light pressure. The Naginata-Togi nib is available in Medium-Fine, Medium, and Broad. These are also available in rhodium plating, if the nib comes in a pen with rhodium trim. Also available in smaller size for 1911 Standard Pens
21kt Emperor
The Sailor Emperor nib is a regular 21k gold Sailor nib that has an additional feature that was created by Sailor nib master Mr. Nobuyoshi Nagahara, and the addition of the solid gold Emperor tab over the top of the nib provides additional ink reservoir, acting almost like a second feed to deliver ink to the nib. The thin gold bar with its tip curled like the mouth of a butterfly acts as a constant ink reserve and keeps ink delivery to the nib constant as well. The Emperor tab is added to many of the Sailor Specialty nibs as an added feature, but the original Emperor nib consists of the Emperor tab on a regular 21k Sailor nib. The Sailor Emperor nib is available in Medium-Fine, Medium, and Broad nib sizes.

This nib is the combination of Sailor Naginata-Togi Nib and the Sailor Emperor Nib, with the features of both nibs. This uniquely crafted nib is double layered, and is specially crafted and tipped. The nib is carefully slit and creates the "cross" at the tip. The tip is then specially ground and polished to perfection. The craftsmanship and design that goes into the Sailor Naginata Cross Point nib provides a variety of interesting writing strokes. The nib will provide a very wet and broad, almost double broad horizontal stroke and a fine stroke in the upside-down position.
21kt Cross Emperor
This Sailor nib combines the Sailor Cross Point nib with the Sailor Emperor nib, and contains the features of both. This double-layered nib with the addition of the solid gold Emperor tab (Gold strip) over the top of the nib provides acts as an additional ink reservoir for constant ink flow and smooth strokes. When used in normal writing position, the nib can produce double broad strokes, and when used upside down, it can produce fine lines.
21kt Cross Music
The Sailor Cross Music nib combines the Sailor Cross Point nib with the Sailor standard Music nib, with the features of both. This nib is double-layered, and specially crafted and tipped by Mr. Nagahara. The nib is carefully slit which creates the "cross" at the tip. The tip is then specially ground and polished to perfection. The tipping is made possible by layering two pen tips as one with the slit done in two directions into the shape of a cross. This double-layered design yields interesting writing strokes, and the Cross Music nib is even broader than the Cross Point nib. This is the "architect's nib" with a very narrow down-stroke and an extra-broad cross-stroke. Writing in normal position, the nib can achieve the double bold and broad strokes as the calligraphy style. On the reverse position, it produces fine nib writing.
21kt Cross Music Emperor
The nib is the special combination of three special nibs: the Sailor Cross Point Nib, the Sailor Emperor Nib and the Sailor Standard Music nib. 21kt Naginata Fude de Mannen
The Fude de Mannen (often referred to as just 'Fude') is the only Sailor Specialty nib that does not come with an Emperor Tab option. This calligraphy nib has an upturned end that offers variation in the thickness of the line depending on the angle that the nib is held to the paper. A more vertical angle produces a narrower stroke, and a shallow angle results in a thicker line. The Sailor Fude de Mannen nib is created from a Naginata-Togi nib with its tip bent upward. Fine strokes can be created with the nib in the upside-down position, and in that position the nib also can be used as a Concord nib as well.
21kt Naginata Concord
This Sailor Naginata Concord nib is specially bent downward, similar to a bird's beak, that produces smooth writing at any angle. The Naginata Concord nib displays fine writing strokes in the normal writing position and bold calligraphic strokes when used in an upside-down writing position. The writing angle off of the paper changes the line width. Holding the fountain pen at an upright angle will result in sharp and fine strokes, while on the reverse side of the nib, the fountain pen writes like a brush, giving you the appearance of brush strokes. This is also available in rhodium plating, if the nib comes in a pen with rhodium trim.
21kt Naginata Concord Emperor
This Sailor nib is the combination of Sailor Naginata Concord Nib and the Sailor Emperor Nib, so it has all the special features of both. As with the Sailor Naginata Concord nib, the Naginata Concord Emperor is specially bent downward, similar to a bird's beak,that produces smooth writing at any angle, and also features the addition of the solid gold Emperor tab over the top of the nib that provides additional ink reservoir, acting almost like a second feed to deliver ink to the nib. The Sailor Naginata Concord Emperor nib has wonderful ink capacity and ink flow, and displays fine writing strokes in the normal writing position and bold calligraphic strokes when used in an upside-down writing position. This is a wet and juicy nib that incorporates the bird's beak and cross slits, with the tipping made possible by layering two pen tips as one. Delivering sharp strokes yet delicate. The nib offers the ultimate in flexible writing and depending on the angle of writing, this nib can write broad, double broad, and triple broad strokes, while writing in fine to medium strokes when turned upside down. When viewed from the side, this nib section looks like the head of an Eagle. Ink flow is exceptional with this nib, and the special nib is only available for certain Bamboo fountain pens and the King of Pens Series only.

King Cobra nib is specially designed and engineered by Mr. Nagahara himself, made with two nibs joined together. The resulting tips are expertly ground and polished to shape, and they resemble the head and jaws of the Cobra snake. This nib writes in a variety of extremely broad strokes and is best suited to longer pen barrels. It lays down a very wet stroke. Note that unlike the rest of the Cross and Eagle nibs, the extra tines are on the underside of this nib.
