Anderson #6 Fine Steel Nib
I replaced the original medium nib in my new Monte Verde Invincia Color Fusion pen with an Anderson #6 fine steel nib. This German nib is a very smooth and produces a line similar in breadth with the original medium nib. Ink flow was improved by spreading the nib tines gently several times with gentle flexing.
Super smooth and consistent
I ordered a number of the different Anderson #6 nibs and tested them all (so this review is being copied for each). All fit right in on my various pens that use the #6 nibs (Conklin, Monteverde, and others. All went right to work, smooth on the paper, producing lines that were as expected for the different styles and widths. One request / suggestion I have is that Anderson could offer its nibs in italic styles finer than 1.1 (e.g. in the 0.5-0.8 range). The italic effect is nice to have in smaller writing where a 1.1 or 1.5 is just to broad.
