A 2 piece set of 6" x 6" squares of padded and slightly tacky gripping material. Anderson Pens gripper squares provide you with the traction that you need to remove sections from pen barrels or even that stubborn cap off an ink bottle. You get 2 per pack, one of a larger weave, and one with a smaller texture. Both work well to offer you a little extra grip and a little extra hand support when working on your pens.
Pretty much just non-adhesive shelf liner cut into squares, but, hey, it gets the job done! Really clamps down on sticky parts!

Gripper Squares -- Great product
I couldn't separate the barrel from the section on a Parker 51. With the gripper squares, I had no problem. No need to use tools or anything else

provide good grip without damaging pens
These have been useful for removing some stubborn modern Lamy and Pilot nibs

Excellent feel and control
The Gripper Squares are made of high quality materials and come in three different thicknesses; allowing excellent feel and control when gripping different parts of the pen. I use the thicker pads when working on my vintage Esterbrooks and the thin pad is great for removing the feeds to clean my Lamy Safaris, AL-Stars and Vistas.

These are seriously useful. If you need to turn one part of the pen in relation to another, or turn the nib unit carefully, or grasp the pen or nib for any reason when there is tension, these are great. They are also useful if you have to pull a nib out. They grip amazingly well, but are thin enough to be very flexible, and useful for delicate jobs. They're also strong. I use mine all the time.
