I ordered three turquoise inks this time: Aurora Turquoise, Diamine Aqua Blue and Taccia Sora Sky Blue. They looked so similar that I wanted to see for myself how close they were, and if they handled differently. Colorwise, they are indeed practically the same, to my eye. Where Aurora Turquoise sets itself apart is that it has red sheen at the edge of where the ink pools in heavily saturated areas, more so than all other inks I have in the same colour. For a list of those turquoise inks, please see the Diamine Aqua Blue review. Aurora’s version is quite smooth even if it feels a tad watery under the nib, as to not cushion its feedback. I enjoy this ink in rather wet writer, especially in my Sailor 1911L 21 kt H-MF LF nib. I get a nicely saturated crisp line with it.
