Blue Pearl Ink
"I really enjoy this ink in my stub nib fountain pens and it's become a daily color for me. Blue Pearl shades well but with the silver particles, the shading can range from a light gray-blue to a darker blue.
Not sure how the particles will work in a fine or medium nib. They could cause a clog. The particles DO NOT create more cleaning for me. You can always let the particles settle to the bottom of the bottle and fill.
If you're a Doctor Who fan, the shading colors remind me of the TARDIS.
Get a sample and try it out."
Ink with a definite difference.
"Shake the bottle gently before filling your pen.
I ordered samples of three of the Shimmertastic inks because I thought they were a really novel idea. This turned out to be my favorite. I use a Lamy Safari with a 1.1mm nib. This ink performs very well and produces stellar results. I give a 4 Star rating because the pen should be cleaned between fillings, and if held point-down too long the tiny flakes that create the shimmer will settle into the feed and block the flow of ink. If you lay the pen on its side or carry it point up give a couple of gentle shakes to re-suspend those tiny flakes."
