Description Kuretake Meiji No Iro Kujakuryoku fountain pen ink is a medium shade of teal, and comes as a 3ml sample in a plastic vial with a dip at the bottom to allow you to easily get every drop, labeled with the name of the ink brand and color. Kujakuryoku ink is based on a peacock blue color that was introduced in this era. Kuretake ZIG is honoring their 120th anniversary by going back to the Meiji Era of Japan with MEIJI NO IRO Inks! During this era more than a century ago, new developments in clothing production and the introduction of Western methods like the use of synthetic dyes made more colors accessible in Japan. With new fabric techniques came new colors and gradients that became more popular, and eventually came to define the colors of the Meiji Era. Kuretake fountain pen ink is made in Japan, is smooth-flowing and specifically formulated to be safe for use in Kuretake Karappo pens, dip pens, fountain pens and more!
