Pure Writing Bliss
Have been fascinated with fountain pens for five or six years. Have 40 - 50 pens that range from a Pilot Prera up to a Pelikan m805. Also, I've a larger physical frame than most, standing at 6' 2", so in my hand, many pens feel too small. Thing is, most large/oversized pens crafted by the respectable companies are accompanied by an over-sized price. For a few years now, I've been trying to find a pen that's large, piston-filled, well-crafted, and reasonable in price. This is that pen.
The shade of red is eye-catching and beautiful. The gold trim adds elegance. The piston filling system works perfectly, also ensuring refills aren't needed too often. The 1.1mm stub nib is one of the smoothest in my collection, and the ink-flow is medium to heavy which is my favorite. The instant I picked up the pen for the first time, both weight and size were substantive, and felt perfect in my larger than average hands. Other similar pens on the market usually go 3 to 4 times this price.
I've already plans to purchase another, particularly the clear demonstrator, which looks exquisite.
If you want a pen of size and substance without having to take out a second mortgage on the house, this one comes highly recommended. Oof. So beautiful!
