What is Sky Blue

People have different opinions of what the color sky blue is (or should be). Agreed, the sky does change colors constantly throughout the day and in differing atmospheric conditions. When I think of a perfect, peaceful, summer, sky blue, this color is represented by Pilot Iroshizuku Ama-Iro almost perfectly in my humble opinion. The ink a a little bit on the dry side but behaves well in my Wing Sung 601 fountain pen.

Iroshizuku has some beautiful blues!

This is a lighter blue than the Kon-peki. Makes me think of the sky, but it's richer than that. Beautiful!
I especially love this Anderson Pen ink comparison tool!
Seriously, you should know how accurate these ink swatches are.
I‰Ûªve been printing out color swatches to find the right colors.
When I write with the actual ink against the printed ink picture, I can not see where one line ends and the other begins. Truly, perfect accuracy.
So for you perfectionists out there, I‰Ûªm using an Epson XP-830 with Epson inks and Epson Matte paper. Even though the backgrounds of the ink swatches can vary, the printed ink color is accurate to the real ink, especially the written line.
So, thank you Brian and Lisa!
I love your site!
