Description The Pilot Sterling Silvern Tsumugi fountain pen is handcrafted from genuine sterling silver and is engraved with exquisite detail, simulating the look of flowing silk fabric. The fountain pen features an inlaid rhodium-plated 18kt gold nib, and the snap-cap ensures a solid and confidant closure. A proprietary Pilot CON-40 converter is included for use with bottled ink, and Pilot cartridges will also work. Tarnishing of the sterling silver is natural, but if the patina bothers you, a polish cloth will safely remove the tarnish without damaging the engraved design. Please note that Japanese nib sizes tend to run on the finer side, so your line with will be thinner than with a western nib. Additional Pilot ink cartridges and other Pilot converters are also available. The Pilot Sterling Silvern Tsumugi fountain pen will not accept the Pilot CON-70 converter, for reference.
