The Platinum Preppy fountain pen is a terrific value for the price! This is a perfect starter fountain pen, or a wonderful option to keep at your desk. The pen features a clear plastic body, and a matching red stainless steel nib. The nib does run a little on the fine side, and is available in sizes fine (0.3mm) or medium (0.5mm). The Preppy accepts Platinum cartridges or a Platinum converter to use with your choice of bottled ink. It comes with one red ink cartridge, and the proprietary Platinum converter is sold separately. If you would like to use international cartridges instead, an optional adapter is also available!
