Not as much sheen as I'd hoped
I haven't really put this ink through its paces yet, so I cannot opine much on performance. So far, I've only used it in a Fountain Pen Revolution Himalaya with an FPR broad nib on Clairefontaine Triomphe stationery, and there was not even a hint of feathering, bleedthrough, or even ghosting. But I find that true of almost all inks on Clairefontaine Triomphe (which is very smooth and 90 gsm). It's awesome paper!
This is a nice orange that looks pretty much the same "in real life" as the swab looks on my computer monitor, but your mileage may vary. It's a pleasant enough color, but somewhat unexciting. It shades just a little, and I can't really detect a sheen. But I knew I was taking a shot in the dark. My favorite ink reviewer said MOST of the Ink Studio inks numbered higher than 500 had some degree of sheen. I took a gamble on this one. I was hoping for more sheen, but I will be happy to use this ink anyway. I've sure enjoyed it so far.
