The Sailor piston ink converter, shown here with gold hardware and a black turning knob, allows you to use bottled ink in your Sailor fountain pen. This converter fits all Sailor cartridge/converter pens except the Chalana.
This particular Sailor Converter works really well and looks quite nice in my high end Sailor demonstrator pens. If the Sailor pen has gold trim on the outside of the pen this GOLD Sailor Converter looks terrific because it shows through the resin and makes the pen looked unified.
Fits well, looks good, and almost fills completely, but not quite. Since Sailor is proprietary and this is your only choice you take what you get. It's annoying when you get a pen that's not cheap and it doesn't have a converter, while any $3.00 Chinese pen always has one, and it's international style to boot.
