Worth every penny
"First stroke on paper proved this was a great buy.
If you're like me and have paid $100-150 for a pen here or pen there and were thinking of trying another in that price point, stop. Stop and buy this. It's worth every penny. You'll start looking for random stuff to write as soon as you get it.
Smooth feeling and performance with the first stroke. Worked on several types of paper with no issue. I'm an everyday user and I recommend ""Broad"" nib. Great recommendation in the video that has worked well.
It is very light so if you are used to a heavier pen, it will take a bit to get used to. Just a heads up."
The pen that made me fall in love with Sailors...
"I'd had one sailor before I obtained this - a Pro Gear II Slim with a F nib. I liked that pen, but it wasn't anything to write home about.
That all changed when I received my Pro Gear Imperial Black.
All I can say is writing with this pen is like going to heaven for your fingers. The nib is nice and springy, yet provides the famous Sailor Feedback. The feedback is wonderful, without being scratchy. You can get plenty of line variation from this nib without even trying (but do remember it is *not* a flex nib!).
This pen was the one that turned me from a Parker fan to a Sailor fan, literally from the first time I put this nib to paper. I'm so glad I bought this thing. If you're looking for a 21k nib, look no further!"
