Taccia Red Bottled Ink
This is my second order of this Taccia Red Ink. I love it so much, ordered another bottle of it from Anderson Pens so to ensure not running out. I love the vibrancy of it. It is a true red, no orangey undertone. As someone who loves and has been on a quest to find the perfect color red for years, leave it to Anderson Pens to have Taccia red seemingly waiting for me to find. Anderson Pens packed and mailed it out quickly.
Finally found my red...
After lots of searching, testing, sampling, and trial & error w/ mixing... I finally got around to trying Aka by Taccia. - I'll say this... It reminds me aLOT of Wild Strawberry by Diamine, but without as much shading. - It seems to have some gold sheen, especially on Tomoe River paper, when you use a broad nib. - It is very saturated, so it does have a tendency to bleed in my experience, but as long as you're not heavy handed and using a super duper wet nib, I find its very manageable. - The color is consistent, and seems to flow really well. - It feels almost like it has some lubricated properties, but it doesnt. - Its cheap, consistent, and vibrant!! - Save yourself some money and time, and start here if you're searching for a true bright red. You wont regret it.
