Lovely saturated purple
Taccia Murasaki Purple is redder than Sailor Kobe #18 Sannomiya Panse and Pilot Iroshizuku Murasaki-Shikibu, and bluer than Röhrer and Klingner Cassia and Diamine Majestic Purple. Waterman Tender Purple is redder. Diamine Lavender and P.W. Akkerman #13 Simplisties Violet are the closest I have. Diamine Lavender is less saturated and feels somewhat thin under the nib, contrary to the Taccia ink, which feels lubricated and coats the nibs well—on par with Simplisites Violet. Taccia Murasaki Purple presents a golden sheen at the edge of where the ink pools in heavy application, over a dark purple outline. The colour is lovely. Because it is saturated, I would use this ink for corrections and marginalia in a drier nib, but letters and long notes with a wetter one.
